LeAnn Rimes addressed her on-going feud with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, who is also the ex-wife of Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian, during a recent interview.
The singer appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday, January 22, and it was the talk show host who brought up the recent flare-up in their feud.
"You're in the middle of this battle with one of the 'Real Housewives' and I don't know what's going on," Kimmel said.
Rimes replied, "Real?"
"Whatever they are. Housewives. Are they even housewives," Kimmel said. "Do you watch the show? Do you know what's going on? You do know what's going on I assume."
"I know what's going on because I have to deal with my publicist every Monday," Rimes said.
The latest flare-up occurred when Glanville appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday, January 21, to promote her book "Drinking and Tweeting." During the interview, host Andy Cohen said Glanville infers in her book that Rimes is Cibrian's "sugar mama."
"Do I? Well it's kind of ... it's true," Glanville said. She also said she believes Rimes is "insane."
Rimes told Kimmel, "I think it's kind of interesting how it seems kind of one-sided most of the time but then you know, you just get kind of fed up with people lying about you."
Kimmel brought up the "insane" comment Glanville made to which Rimes responded, "I am. Clearly. Clearly. I am though."
"I actually usually don't engaged but there comes a time when you're just like screw you," she later added. "That's it and then that's all you want to say and like I'm done with this now for like another like three months."
The feud stems from when Rimes and Cibrian started an affair while filming the 2009 Lifetime movie "Northern Lights." At the time, Cibrian was still married to Glanville and Rimes was with her then-husband Dean Sheremet.
Rimes split with Sheremet in 2010 and Cibrian finalized his own divorce from Glanville, the mother of his two sons, that same year. Rimes and Cibrian wed in April 2011.
Rimes also has a new album called "Spitfire" that is expected to hit stores April 30, 2013.
