Marisa Tomei and "Prometheus" actor Logan Marshall-Green are not engaged, despite a tabloid magazine report, their reps say.
The 48-year-old star and Green, 36, have been dating off and on since 2008, according to the website E! Online, and have occasionally attended celebrity events together over the years. In Touch magazine reported on January 24 that he proposed to her over the holidays and that she agreed to marry him. Reps for both actors told OTRC.com, that the report is not true.
Tomei, who won an Oscar for the 1992 film "My Cousin Vinny" and recently appeared in the comedy film "Parental Guidance," has usually kept her love life private.
Tomei told DC magazine in 2009, while promoting the movie "The Wrestler," that while she was currently "in love," she is "not that big a fan of marriage as an institution," adding: "I don't know why women need to have children to be seen as complete human beings."
In addition to his role as Charlie Holloway in the 2012 film "Prometheus," Marshall-Green also starred in shows such as "the O.C." and "24."
