The products are Triaminic Syrups and Theraflu Warming Relief syrups.
Officials say the child resistant caps are faulty and can lead to unintentional ingestion and poisoning. The syrups contain acetominophen, which is required to be in safety packaging.
There were 12 reports of children unscrewing the locked caps, and four of those children ingested the product. One child needed medical attention.
