Are Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem expanding their family?
The 38-year-old Oscar-winning actress is reportedly pregnant with her second child, according to The New York Post, which quotes a source close to the actress.
E! News reports that the actress is "around three months" pregnant. However, the outlet also quotes an unnamed source close to Cruz. Cruz, Bardem and their respective spokespeople have not officially confirmed the pregnancy.
Cruz and Bardem, 43, are already parents to a 2-year-old son named Leo. The couple married in the Bahamas in early July 2010 after dating since at least 2007. The two met while filming the Spanish movie "Jamon, Jamon" in 1992.
The actress won an Oscar for her performance in the 2008 movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and was nominated for two Academy Awards for her roles in "Volver" and "Nine." She is also known for movies such as "Vanilla Sky" and "Sahara."
Cruz's sister, actress Monica Cruz, announced in early January that she is pregnant and expecting her first child. Monica was open about using an anonymous sperm donor to conceive her child, which she wrote about in a blog for the Spanish newspaper El Pais.
The sisters appeared together in an ad for "Super Mario Bros." in August 2012. Penelope even dressed up like Mario for the video.
