Beyonce performed during the halftime show at the Super Bowl XLVII football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers on February 3.
The famed singer opened her show with "Crazy in Love," and went on to perform hit songs such as "Baby Boy" and "Halo," as well as newer songs such as "End of Time."
The singer's performance also featured a special reunion by Destiny's Child who performed "Bootylicious," "Independent Women," and a special rendition of Beyonce's hit song, "Single Ladies."
There was speculation that the group would reunite for the one-night event, but on January 28, group member Michelle Williams told WRUG Media that the group would not be performing for the esteemed halftime performance.
On January 21, Beyonce caught flack for allegedly lip-synching her performance of the national anthem at President Obama's second in auguration.
Beyonce held a press conference to address the controversy, and when asked if she would use a backing tack for her Super Bowl halftime performance, the singer said that she will "absolutely" be singing live.
"This is what I was born to do," she added.
Alicia Keys performed the national anthem prior to the event's commencement, and Jennifer Hudson also delivered a moving performance of "America the Beautiful" with the chorus of Sandy Hook Elementary School.
