Shakira has shared the first public photo of her first child, son Milan, almost two weeks after he was born.
On February 4, two days after her 36th birthday, the Colombian Latin pop singer posted on her website a picture of boyfriend Gerard Pique holding their son. She also shared a link to a UNICEF fundraising page.
"Visit our @Unicef #Babyshower to see the 1st pic of my 2 angels & help underprivileged babies," she said on Twitter.
Shakira's son, whose full name is Milan Pique Mebarak, was born on January 22 in Barcelona, Spain. The singer had announced his birth online as well and explained his unique name, writing that "Milan means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification."
She and Pique, who plays for FC Barcelona, have been together for more than a year.
Meanwhile, the new mom is getting ready for her full-time TV debut as a co-mentor and judge on the NBC singing competition series "The Voice." The upcoming fourth season premieres on March 25 and will feature her and R&B singer Usher taking over for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, who are taking time off to concentrate on their music careers.
This is the biggest TV gig for both. Shakira has previously appeared on episodes of shows such as "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "Ugly Betty," while Usher has had parts on "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" and "7th Heaven."
