Suspects sought in Camarillo shooting

The Camarillo Police Department received numerous reports of gunfire Monday night. Shots were fired near Barry and Fulton streets.

Ventura County sheriff's deputies responded and found a 22-year-old male Camarillo resident injured by gunfire. The victim was hospitalized, treated and released.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene Investigation Unit also responded to the scene.

The Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff's Office is asking that anyone who may have witnessed or has information related to this crime to contact Sergeant John Gleason at (805) 384-4727.
