Jennifer Lawrence says the idea of being an Oscar nominee -- again -- hasn't quite hit her yet.
"It really hasn't hit me yet - not even the first nomination has really hit me," Lawrence told OTRC.com. "I feel like it happens and you just kind of float up on this cloud - like, it's too good to actually realize, and I feel like I'm still in that state."
She received her first nomination for her role in the 2011 film "Winter's Bone," and can still recall her first walk down the esteemed red carpet.
"I remember expecting to get awestruck because that's the most amazing thing in the entire world," Lawrence said. "We made this tiny movie that we prayed anybody would see, and prayed it would get into Sundance, and then we were going to be walking down the carpet at the Oscars. So, I was expecting to have this very whimsical, 'Oh my God' moment, and when I got on the carpet, I was like, 'Oh my God, this is amazing!' and I just started screaming at everybody."
Lawrence, who is known for playing strong characters, went on to talk about what she thinks makes a good story.
"I've always fallen in love with those characters," Lawrence explained. "I always think that a good story follows a strong character ... Probably the best moment of my career was when somebody came up to me and thanked me for making 'Silver Linings' because his family could finally understand him - and our job is done."
The actress also talked about a typical night in the Lawrence household - and it involves beer.
"For dinner, I actually just called the other night, and they passed me around, and I asked my oldest brother, I was like, 'Hey, what are you guys having for dinner?'" Lawrence told OTRC.com. "And he goes, 'Uh, chicken, steak and uh, fish.' So that. And Budweisers. The normal Lawrence night."
The actress is nominated for her role as Tiffany in the comedy drama "Silver Linings Playbook" alongside actor Bradley Cooper. In the film, Lawrence plays a widow who falls in love with her bipolar neighbor, portrayed by Cooper, who wants to reconnect with his ex-wife.
