Yucaipa crash: US orders immediate shutdown of bus company

LOS ANGELES

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration says the company, Scapadas Magicas, is an imminent hazard to public safety.

On Feb. 3, a bus operated by Scapadas Magicas crashed on a mountain road striking two other vehicles east of San Bernardino. Seven passengers were killed, dozens were injured, and a driver in a separate vehicle was killed.

The bus was transporting passengers from locations including Tijuana, Mexico on a Southern California ski trip.
