Kate Upton is once again the cover girl for the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The cover for the 2013 issue, which can be seen above, was revealed on Twitter on Friday, February 8.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's Twitter account posted the cover and wrote, "POLAR BARE: @KateUpton in Antarctica is your 2013 SI Swimsuit Cover Model!"
Upton, 20, was the cover girl of last year's issue, which can be seen here. She is the first model to appear on back-to-back Swimsuit Issue covers since Tyra Banks, who donned the magazine's cover in 1996 and 1997.
"We can finally talk about Antarctica!!!!! @peterbutlerhair @MJ_Day @darciebaum.. Took us 2 months to thaw out," Upton Tweeted on Friday.
Upton and nine other swimsuit models will reportedly appear on "The Late Show with David Letterman" to promote the issue on Monday, February 11, according to People Magazine.
The model first gained internet fame in 2011 when a video of her doing the dance "the Dougie" at a Clipper's game went viral. Upton has had roles in "Tower Heist" and "The Three Stooges." She also briefly appeared as herself on the Feb. 18, 2012 episode of "Saturday Night Live."
"Congratulations Ms.@kateupton !! Making history," Brooklyn Decker, a model who appeared on the cover of the 2010 issue, Tweeted to Upton.
