A "Chicago" reunion is in the works for Oscars 2013. It was announced on Monday, February 11, that Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renee Zellweger, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah will present at the ceremony, which is also the 10th anniversary of the film's Best Picture win.
Zeta-Jones won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in the film and both Zellweger and Latifah were nominated for their roles in the musical. Zellweger won an Oscar in 2004 for her supporting role in "Cold Mountain." "Chicago" won a total of six Oscars including Best Picture, Best Sound and Best Costume Design.
"We are very excited to reunite the stars of 'Chicago' to present on the Oscars, on the 10th anniversary of the movie's win for Best Picture," telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement.
This year's Oscar ceremony will also feature a tribute to movie musicals of the last decade including "Chicago," "Dreamgirls" and current Oscar Best Picture nominee "Les Miserables."
Gere, Latifah, Zellweger and Zeta-Jones join the growing list of Oscar presenters which includes Mark Wahlberg and Ted, 'The Avengers' cast members Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo; returning 2011 Oscar winners Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep; special guests Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron; and performers Adele, Dame Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand.
