A sheared fire hydrant sent thousands of gallons of water into a Ralph's grocery store in Castaic Thursday.

Los Angeles County firefighters were called to the watery scene at the store, located in the 31900 block of Castaic Road, around 8:30 p.m. Authorities said about 100,000 gallons of water flooded the area.

No one was hurt, but the store was closed while workers cleaned up the water.

It was expected to reopen for business Friday.
