OTRC: Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria sued over yoga class injury - report

Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Thomas pose on the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Jan. 27, 2013.

Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria Thomas is reportedly being sued after a yoga class injury occurred at her studio.

Court documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court by Spencer Wolff, 32, state that he was asked "to perform a dangerous activity at a wall" during Thomas' yoga class, the New York Post and various outlets reported on February 17.

The report also cites that the yoga studio was dangerously overcrowded, which was a factor that led to Wolff crashing into a sixth-floor window while attempting to perform a handstand.

The Post goes on to describe his injury as "bloody," and say that he "ripped open his left leg after he lost his balance."

Thomas, 28, is an instructor at the yoga studio, Yoga Vida, which is near Union Square in New York. The suit alleges that Thomas put students in a position of "extreme danger" by letting them "exceed a safe and/or maximum allowable number of persons."

Thomas has not publicly commented about the matter.

On Tuesday, February 12, Thomas and Baldwin, who wed in June 2012, announced that they were expecting a baby in an interview on the TV show "Extra."

"We're having a baby!" said Thomas. "It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise."

Baldwin, 54, recalled how she screamed after seeing her positive pregnancy test, saying it was "the scream that's normally reserved if there's a spider in the house on Long Island, not exaggerating."

"It really is the most amazing thing," he said. "I mean if I really share with you how I felt, I'd probably burst out crying now, so I'm going to try to avoid that. It is something where ... I'm lucky."

Rumors about her pregnancy surfaced in late January. Baldwin's spokesperson had Tweeted at the time: "Our response to baby speculation over the past 18 months has remained the same - when/if @abfalecbaldwin and @Hilariabaldwin have news they want to share, they will share it.

Baldwin wed Thomas in June 2012 in New York City. The two married at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in a Catholic ceremony attended by family and famous Hollywood pals, including Baldwin's brother and fellow actor Stephen, actress Mariska Hargitay, director Woody Allen and "30 Rock" co-star Tina Fey. Their show ended its seven-season run on January 30.
