Rihanna was seen exiting a London night club on Sunday, February 17, with a bloody knee after an encounter with a club patron, several reports claim.
The incident reportedly occurred at 3 a.m. outside the Box Nightclub in London. Rihanna was leaving the club when she confronted by a male stranger, according to the New York Daily News. The stranger reportedly began screaming at the singer for becoming involved with Chris Brown again and the man threw a bottled of a British energy drink called Lucozade in her direction.
During the incident, Rihanna reportedly fell against a metal shop grate and cut her right knee, the newspaper reports. The outlet also has photos of the singer leaving the club with a bit of blood on her right knee. She was later left the scene in a car.
Rihanna, who was in London to debut her fashion line with River Island for London Fashion Week, did not Tweet about the incident, but the following day she did Tweet and Instagram about the London media comparing her to the late Princess Diana.
"Just so happens I came home drunk to this in a pile of papers outside my hotel room! My lil Bajan behind," she wrote in a caption for one Instagram photo she took on Sunday of the UK's The Sunday Times' front page. "Never thought these many people would even know my name, now it's next to Princess Diana's on the front of a newspaper! Life can be such a beautiful thing when you let it be #yourejealous :)"
She wrote in another caption with a photo of the front page of The Sunday Times Magazine, "When your face is pic-stitched to Princess Diana's on the cover of The Sunday Times.... I mean... #extraordinaRIHbehavior."
Rihanna confirmed in an interview with Rolling Stone late last month that she and Chris Brown had rekindled their romance. She also appeared in court on February 6 to support Brown, who faced allegations that he failed to complete his court-mandated community labor and violated his probation.
Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault of Rihanna after a pre-Grammy Awards party early on Feb. 8, 2009. He was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to complete 180 days of community labor and take 52 hours worth of domestic violence classes.
