Harry Styles spoke about his split with Taylor Swift in a radio interview with London's Capital FM on February 17.
The 19-year-old One Direction singer was asked how he was doing now that he is single and replied, "I'm ok, thank you for asking."
"Yeah, I'm good," he later added.
Styles was also asked about Swift's recent performance at the Grammy Awards on February 10. She sang her hit song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and during a spoken word part of the song, some outlets speculated that she used a British accent when voicing an ex and that it was an intended jab toward Styles.
"I'm fine. She's a great performer and she always performs great. She's always good on the stage," he said about Swift's performance. "She's been doing it a long time. She knows what she's doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good."
Rumors of 23-year-old Swift and Styles' romance began in mid-November. The two reportedly split in mid-January.
Styles, who phoned in to the radio station to promote One Direction's charity single "One Way or Another," said he understands why people would be interested in how he is coping with the break up.
"I understand why people would wanna know stuff like that, I get it. If someone does stuff like that then I wanna know about it, too," he said. "I guess it just kind of ... it is what it is I guess."
In a recent interview for Elle magazine, Swift said that despite her boy crazy reputation, she doesn't chase boys.
"I'm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I'm chasing somebody who doesn't like me as much as I like him -- people love that angle on me," she told ELLE. "They're like "Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys. I never chase boys. They don't like it!"
