Mario Lopez, host of "Extra," and wife Courtney are expecting their second child, more than two months after they wed.
The announcement was made on "Extra" on Tuesday, February 19. The show featured the couple's 2-year-old daughter Gia holding a sign that read: "I'm going to be a big sister."
"I am the happiest father in the world," the show's website quoted Lopez as saying, adding that his new child is due in the summer.
Lopez, also known for co-hosting the FOX singing contest series "The X Factor," and Courtney Mazza wed on December 1 in Punta Mita, Mexico, at the home of "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis. Lopez's friend and former "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria attended the ceremony, which aired as a TV special on the cable network TLC.
Lopez and his wife met while starring in the Broadway revival of "A Chorus Line" in 2006. The couple announced their engagement in January 2012.
