Kim Kardashian did her first pregnant photo shoot with Dujour magazine for its Spring issue, but the article has drawn equal attention for its claims that she may soon depart "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
Kardashian, 32, is currently expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West. West revealed the pregnancy to the crowd at a concert in Atlantic City in late December. In a January interview, Kardashian called the pregnancy "a nice surprise" but that their child will not be a part of the family's reality programs.
In its article about Kardashian, Dujour claims, "After season 9 [of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'], she says, she's done."
A paragraph later, the magazine again claims "Today, she says season 9 will be the last..."
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is currently filming its eighth season and Kardashian denied the magazine's claims in a blog post on her official website on February 20.
"I know that many of you have read the Dujour Magazine interview I just did. In the article, I was asked about continuing on with 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10," Kardashian wrote. "The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it's a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it."
"It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other. I'm looking forward to the new season and beyond," she added. "The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don't know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I'm looking forward to continuing this journey."
Kardashian does talk about trying to be a little more private in the interview, but she is never quoted as saying that she plans to exit her family's show.
"My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy," she told the magazine about West. "I'm ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I'm realizing everyone doesn't need to know everything. I'm shifting my priorities."
"I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life," she later told the magazine. "It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I'm realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different."
The reality star also opened up about her pregnancy experience, including the fact that she has not had morning sickness and has not experienced any fatigue. She also said that she tries not to be too hard on herself for not always eating right during her pregnancy.
"I used to always say I can't wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it's completely different," Kardashian told the magazine. "I'm like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible. Though lately I've been watching shows like 'I'm Pregnant and Addicted to Meth.' It definitely makes me feel better if I'm wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar. I'm like, This woman is on meth."
