BBU Inc., the parent company of Bimbo Bakeries, issued a voluntary recall because certain products could contain pieces of flexible wire caused by a faulty screen at a third party flour mill.
Affected brands in California include Sara Lee Multi-Grain Thin Style Buns with a best-by date of Feb. 17.
Also involved are Sara Lee 112 Grain Bread Hearty and Delicious with a best-by date of Feb. 20 and Earthgrains 12 Grain Natural Bread also with a best-by date of Feb. 20.
