Kristen Stewart's appearance at the Oscars generated buzz across social media platforms just before the ceremony, but it wasn't just the actress' dress that got people talking.
The 22-year-old former "Twilight Saga" star appeared on the red carpet of the award show wearing a Reem Acra dress and walking on crutches. Check out video of her on the red carpet below.
During the ceremony, Stewart limped on stage without the crutches when she presented the Oscar for Best Production Design with former "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe.
Backstage, Stewart explained her injury to Best Actress in a Supporting Role winner Anne Hathaway. Stewart said that she got hurt when she stepped on glass.
"I know, I'm an idiot," Stewart told Hathaway, who asked her about her crutches before Stewart was set to present, according to The Associated Press. "But congratulations!"
"Please tell me you're going on stage with those," Hathaway said, pointing to the crutches.
"Nope. I'm gonna hobble," Stewart replied.
