Lindsay Lohan is once again teaming up with Charlie Sheen.

The 26-year-old actress will play herself as a therapy patient in an upcoming episode of Sheen's FX sitcom "Anger Management," The Associated Press reported on Monday, February 25.

Lionsgate Television told the wire service that Lohan will develop a romantic relationship during her sessions with the therapist character played by star Sheen.

Lohan's episode is set to air in April. Sheen and Lohan recently worked together in the upcoming "Scary Movie 5," which is set to debut the same month. The photo above depicts the film's opening scene.

"Scary Movie 5" tells of three dancers who compete for the lead part in a new production helmed by a shady director. Other cast members include Ashley Tisdale of "High School Musical" and "Hellcats" fame and Kate Walsh from ABC's "Private Practice.

Lohan's risque film "The Canyons" was acquired by IFC earlier this month and is set to have a day-and-date theatrical and video-on-demand release.

The Paul Schrader-directed thriller, which was rejected by the Sundance Film Festival, revolves around young people in Hollywood and focuses on aspects of love, sex and success in the year 2012.

The actress was profiled on the set of the film by the New York Times in an article called "Here Is What Happens When You Cast Lindsay Lohan in Your Movie," which detailed the difficulties filmmakers had working with Lohan.

"Anger Management," which debuted in June 2012, was renewed for 90 more episodes by FX in August. The sitcom is based on the 2003 Adam Sandler film and sees Sheen play an anger management therapist - an ironic role for the actor, who was fired from CBS' "Two and a Half Men" in 2011 amid a personal meltdown.
