Justin Guarini, who came in second place to Kelly Clarkson during the first season of "American Idol," recently welcomed his second bundle of joy.
The singer and his wife Reina Capodici welcomed a son named Asher on Monday, Feb. 25, his spokesperson confirmed to OTRC.com, following a report by People magazine.
"Asher, 7lbs8oz of bliss," he Tweeted on Feb. 27, with a corresponding photo of his new baby (See photo below).
On April 26, 2011, the pair welcomed their first child together, William Neko Bell Guarini, Guarini's representative confirmed to OTRC.com.
Guarini and Capodici wed in 2009. According to People, the two first met in junior high school and later reconnected in 2007. The new addition is the second child for the couple, and the third for Capodici who has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Guarini lost to Kelly Clarkson on FOX's hit singing contest show in 2002. They later starred together in the 2003 movie "From Justin to Kelly." After his run on "American Idol," Guarini released two albums and worked as a guest host for the TV Guide Network.
In March 2011, the singer joined the cast of the Broadway musical "American Idiot," which was based on the songs of rock band Green Day. The show ended its Broadway run on April 24, 2011 after 422 performances.
