Ryan Seacrest recently dodged wedding questions during an "American Idol" event.
The host appeared at the "Idol Across America" event on Friday, March 1, and was reluctant to answer questions about a possible wedding between him and girlfriend Julianne Hough, according to The Associated Press.
Seacrest, 38, and Hough, 24, have been dating since the spring of 2010 and he recently appeared with her on the red carpet at the premiere of her film "Safe Haven."
Hough is a former "Dancing With The Stars" professional dancer and has transitioned to a career as a full time actress with roles in "Burlesque," the 2011 "Footloose" remake and the 2012 musical "Rock of Ages."
When a reporter from the wire service asked if there the two have a wedding date in the future, Seacrest responded: "Are you getting married?"
There was some more back and forth on the subject before Seacrest moved on without answering.
"Idol Across America" is a relay of the "American Idol" microphone across the country from New York to Los Angeles in a similar way to the Olympic torch relay.
It was recently announced that Hough and her brother, current "Dancing With The Stars" pro Derek Hough, are teaming up as co-producers of a scripted dance-themed series titled "Blackpool" that was picked up by the Starz network.
