Jessica Simpson recently appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," revealing some juicy pregnancy details ... by accident.
The 32-year-old pop singer and "Fashion Star" mentor opened up to Kimmel on a March 6 episode of his talk show, accidentally revealing the gender of the baby she's expecting.
"Oh my gosh, it's a total different pregnancy, I just feel awful - I've been vomiting," Simpson explained to Kimmel. "The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous," she laughed.
Realizing what she said, the singer continued: "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy! ... I can't believe I just did that, that was not planned." (Watch the video below)
In Dec. 2012, the performer confirmed her second pregnancy by Tweeting a photo of her 10-month-old daughter, Maxwell Drew, dressed in a red and white striped onesie, sitting on a patch of sand with the words "BIG SIS" scrawled in it, surrounded by leaves (See photo).
Five days following her announcement, the singer again took to her Twitter account to debut her new baby bump while sporting a blue, patterned bikini (See photo).
In March 2012, Simpson announced that she was expecting her first child, a girl, in her interview with Elle magazine. She also appeared nude on its April cover, which appears to be an homage to Demi Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair picture (See photos of female celebrities who have posed nude and pregnant).Simpson rose to fame with the MTV show "Newlyweds," which aired between 2003 and 2005 and starred her then-husband Nicky Lachey, whose current wife Vanessa also recently welcomed a son. On the show, Simpson famously uttered the phrase, "Is this chicken what I have, or is this fish? It says Chicken By The Sea. So stupid," while eating tuna.
Since the series, Simpson has also become known for her $1 billion fashion empire. She and fellow fashion designers Nicole Richie and John Varvatos are mentors on the NBC show, "Fashion Star," whose second season premieres on Friday, March 8 at 8 p.m. ET. Fashion journalist Louise Roe will be the host on the upcoming season.
"Fashion Star" sees contestants competing to become the next big fashion designer. The judges are buyers from major retailers such as H&M and Macy's.
