Halle Berry had viewers buzzing for the cleavage-bearing dress she wore during her appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Monday, March 11.
Berry talked about her Oscars 2013 dress by Donatella Versace and revealed that she wanted to look like a Bond girl at the ceremony since she was a part of the show's salute to the James Bond franchise. Berry was a Bond girl in the 2002 film "Die Another Day."
"I had a conversation with Donatella Versace, told her that I wanted to go to the Oscars as a Bond girl. Like if a Bond girl would go in 2013," Berry explained. "So she came up with what her idea of it was, but she's out of the country. So she put it in a suitcase and shipped it here and I got it the day before the Oscars."
The 46-year-old actress also said that while the dress felt like "wearing a Ferrari," it difficult to move or bend her arms.
"Well, this year I couldn't lift my arms past here [her thigh]," she said with a laugh. "You'll notice there are no pictures of me with my hands on my hips. My arms are stuck down."
"It's just the way it was, I couldn't do it," she added.
Berry appeared on the late night talk show to promote her upcoming film "The Call," which hits theaters on Friday, March 15.
