It happened at the Pavilions market on the 9400 block of Olympic Boulevard in late January.
Authorities released surveillance video and still images of the man. He is described as white, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 195 pounds with dark hair, dark eyes and possibly in his late 30s to early 40s.
Officers say the man baited a woman, asking her to remove an item from a high shelf. When she reached for it, he sexually battered her then took off.
