Lisa Vanderpump is bruised, but not beaten.
The "Dancing With The Stars" contestant spoke to Access Hollywood about the physical challenges required to be a top contender in the hit ABC reality competition, which included a rigorous rehearsal routine.
"I look OK on the outside, but inside I'm falling apart," said Vanderpump, during a rehearsal with her dancing partner Gleb Savchenko on Friday.
"Oh my God -- I'm covered in [bruises]," she added.
Vanderpump, who stars on Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" as well as "Vanderpump Rules," expressed trepidation about performing the Jive, a face-paced dance similar to swing, for the upcoming episode. But the reality star remained optimistic.
"It's kind of intimidating, but you know what? If you land on your [expletive], or you screw up, that's the journey isn't it?"
Vanderpump will be competing against her fellow season 16 contestants, which include Kellie Pickler ("American Idol" alum), Wynonna Judd (country singer), Andy Dick (comedian), Dorothy Hamill (Olympic figure skater), D.L. Hughley (comedian), Zendaya Coleman (actress and singer), Ingo Rademacher (actor), Alexandra "Aly" Raisman (Olympic gymnast), Jacoby Jones (Baltimore Ravens wide receiver) and newly-announced cast member Sean Lowe of ABC's "Bachelor."
"Dancing With The Stars" airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
