Long Beach gas station shooting wounds 2; gunman sought

LONG BEACH, Calif.

The boy was wounded as he sat with his parents at a gas station at Del Amo and Long Beach boulevards around 8 p.m.

According to authorities, a group of men were involved in an argument that escalated into gunfire. That's when police say the unidentified underage boy was hit.

His parents rushed him to a nearby police station and hospital where he's now listed in stable condition.

An adult man was also shot by the gunfire. His injuries are not life-threatening.
