Jake Davidson of Sherman Oaks asked the Sports Illustrated supermodel to the formal event March 16 via YouTube. The video, titled "Kate Upton, Will You Go To Prom With Me?," went viral after the beauty gushed and replied a flirty response via Twitter.
"How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule," Upton tweeted on March 19, ending the response with a winky face.
Despite Davidson's applaudable effort, the high school senior's dream prom date has been forced to reject his invitation due to her busy schedule.
"I'm not sure if I'll be able to go with him or not, due to my schedule," Upton told People magazine. "I want to, but I just don't know if I can make it work. But I really appreciated being asked; it made me feel really great."
The cover model went on to compliment Davidson's humor and confidence.
