Eva Mendes wants some privacy for her and Ryan Gosling's pups.

The 39-year-old actress, who has been romantically linked to Gosling since sometime in late 2011, recently talked to Vulture about the privacy of the pair's pets.

The "Hitch" actress, who remained mum on almost all other topics related to Gosling, admitted to the outlet that she wishes that tabloids would blur the faces of their two dogs, Hugo (hers) and George (his), in photos, like British papers do to kids' faces.

"I'll go somewhere and they'll be like, 'Hey, Hugo!' and I'm like, 'How do you know Hugo's name?'" she told the outlet. "That's so creepy!"

Gosling, 32, and Mendes, filmed "The Place Beyond the Pines" together in 2011. The film, which is set for release on March 29, also features Rose Byrne, Greta Gerwig, Ray Liotta and Bradley Cooper. The pair reportedly started dating shortly after wrapping the film.

In January 2012, the pair reportedly took a big leap in their relationship after Mendes met Gosling's mother, Donna. People magazine reported that the pair met with his mother in Manhattan, and the trio went to the movies together.

The couple was first seen together on a date to Disneyland in September 2012.

Mendes and Gosling were also spotted getting close in Paris in November 2011. After dining on Argentinean food, the couple took a tour of the historic Catacombs of Paris, which houses the skeletal remains of roughly six million Parisians.

In December, the actors appeared in a FunnyOrDie.com clip called titled "Drunk History Christmas." They played a couple and mouth the words of comedian Allan McLeod as he recites the 1823 poem "The Night Before Christmas" while intoxicated.

The pair's upcoming film, "The Place Beyond the Pines," follows a motorcycle stunt rider (Gosling) who turns to robbing banks as a way to provide for his lover (Mendes) and their newborn child, a decision that puts him on a collision course with an ambitious rookie cop navigating a department ruled by a corrupt detective.
