Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko, a Ukrainian boxing champion, may be headed down the aisle after dating on and off for about three years.
A spokesperson for the 23-year-old actress and current star of the ABC country music-themed drama series "Nashville" had no immediate comment about a report by Us Weekly, which said on Wednesday, March 27, that the couple is currently planning their wedding and haven't told many people about their engagement.
The magazine added that Panettiere has an engagement ring but is not wearing it in public. The actress did not sport one at the Paley Center for Media's PaleyFest panel event celebrating "Nashville" earlier this month (see PHOTOS of her and other "Nashville" stars, such as Connie Britton.)
She and Klitschko stepped out together publicly in 2010 and announced in May 2011 that they had broken up, citing the difficulties in maintaining a long-distance relationship. They were seen together in public again in January and earlier this month, they were photographed kissing at a Miami Heat basketball game .
The news comes hours before "Nashville" returns from a month-long hiatus. A new episode is set to air on ABC at 10 p.m. ET. The show premiered in September and stars Panettiere as a country and pop singer who wants to reinvent herself as a more serious musician. Britton plays her rival, a veteran country singer. Panettiere was previously known for her role as a mutant cheerleader on "Heroes."
