Leave it to Bieber. After a string of unfortunate events -- including a backstage fainting spell in London and a neighbor's accusations of misdemeanor battery -- Justin Bieber defended his actions in a recent interview with US Magazine.
"I'm young and I make mistakes. That's part of growing up," said the 19-year-old singer. "I mess up sometimes. It's part of growing up."
Bieber, who finishes his world tour in August, blamed his fainting spell during his concert at the O2 Arena on the flu.
"I passed out from the flu," he told US Magazine. "The worst thing to me is disappointing my fans -- we only had five songs left -- so they gave me oxygen, and I decided to finish the show and then go to the hospital. The show must go on."
The singer has also been photographed shirtless, as well as wearing a gas mask in the London streets. He attributed to the latter behavior to "a joke with my friends."
"I'm thinking about my next album, next tour. Or maybe I'll take a break," he confessed, regarding his current state of mind. "I'm figuring it out. Isn't that what you're supposed to do at 19?"
