Anna Chlumsky, a former child star who rose to fame with the 1991 film "My Girl" and currently stars on the HBO show "Veep," says she plans to wear "cheap," "crazy-looking" maternity outfits while pregnant.
The 32-year-old actress announced on Wednesday that she and husband Shaun So are expecting their first child and and showcased her baby bump in a cheetah-print dress later that day on Andy Cohen's Bravo cable channel talk show "Watch What Happens Live."
"Really, my plan is to just get as much kind of cheap, crazy-looking things as possible," she said on the program's after show, responding to a caller's question about her maternity wear. "I went on an H&M rampage the other day and bought these crazy leggings with like, leopards on them -- not leopard print but leopards. So it's a leopard print! I'm taking the advantage of this time to just be kind of insane."
"Veep" premiered on HBO in 2012 and stars "Seinfeld" alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President Selina Meyer. She won an Emmy for her role. Chlumsky plays her character's chief of staff, Amy Brookheimer. "Veep" returns for season 2 on April 14.
