OTRC: Justin Bieber banned from Vienna nightclub, manager says bodyguards smashed fans' cameras

Justin Bieber has been banned from a nightclub in Austria after his entourage allegedly scuffled with several of his young female fans.

The 19-year-old pop star has not commented. Joachim Bankel, manager of the Babenberger Passage club in Vienna, told the Austrian Times that on Saturday, Bieber arrived at the venue with his bodyguards, who "smashed cameras," "destroyed" cellphones and "even groped" several girls who surrounded him.

"Justin Bieber is no longer welcome here," Bankel told the newspaper.

Babenberger Passage's official Facebook page featured a link to an article about the incident that was published by the UK tabloid The Sun.

The popular singer, who has more than 36.9 million Twitter followers, performed a sold-out concert in the Austrian city earlier that day as part of his "Believe" tour. The Austrian Times reported that 178 fans who attended were treated by medics after feeling faint and lightheaded, while another one was hospitalized for "hysteria."

Bieber arrived in Munich, Germany last week to perform a gig there and was forced to leave his pet monkey in quarantine.

Last week, Bieber made headlines when a neighbor in the gated community in Calabasas called the police to report that he had a confrontation with the singer and accused Bieber of misdemeanor battery and of making threats. No arrests were made and no criminal charges have been filed.

"I'm young and I make mistakes. That's part of growing up," Bieber said in a recent interview with Us Weekly. "I mess up sometimes. It's part of growing up."
