Hilary Duff sure has matured from her "Lizzie McGuire" persona, with the actress set to play one "manly" man's love interest.
The 25-year-old actress, who is also a mother to a 1-year-old son, is set to guest-star on "Two and a Half Men" for the show's season 10 finale, OTRC.com has confirmed.
Duff is set to play Stacey, the love interest to Ashton Kutcher's character, Walden Schmidt. It was also announced that Marilu Henner of "Taxi" fame has been tapped to portray Duff's character's grandmother, who also captures the romantic attention of Walden.
"So excited to be joining the cast of @TwoHalfMen_CBS this week!" Duff Tweeted on April 2. "I get to play a crazy drunk girl, funnnn!!!"
The episode is set to air on Thursday, May 9 at 8:30 p.m. on CBS.
In September 2011, Kutcher made his debut as billionaire Walden Schmidt on the season 9 premiere of the show, months after longtime cast member Charlie Sheen was axed following a meltdown.
Duff rose to fame as a teenage actress and lead character of the Disney Channel series "Lizzie McGuire." She had a recurring role on "Gossip Girl" in 2009 and also guest starred on "Community" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The actress is also a best-selling author. Her second novel, "Devoted," was released last October.
In March 2012, the starlet and her husband, Mike Comrie, who is a retired hockey player, welcomed Luca Cruz. That April, the pair debuted the first photos of their bundle of joy.
