Vicki Gunvalson, a cast member of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," debuted a fresh look during the season after undergoing plastic surgery, something her mother did not know until watching an episode of the reality show about it.

During a recent episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Gunvalson talked about her plastic surgery, which included cartilage reconstruction on her nose, fat injections into her cheeks and a chin implant. Video from the show can be viewed below.

"Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen said that when Gunvalson revealed her look on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" it "hadn't settled yet" and so Gunvalson revealed her new face again on "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday, April 1.

"Hopefully it doesn't look any different, I don't know. I didn't even tell my mother until she found out tonight," Gunvalson told Cohen on the show. "She was not really happy."

"I had fat from my sides put in my face. They spun it down and they put a little implant because I guess when they do the nose, they have to do the chin," Gunvalson added.

Gunvalson also explained why she decided to do the surgery when Cohen asked if she did it after a cast member of her show, Slade Smiley, said that she looked like Miss Piggy.

"No, I didn't do it because of Slade," Gunvalson said. "At the end of the day, it hurt my feelings. It wasn't just Slade, there was a lot of people saying my nose turned up and I look like Miss Piggy and it made me self-conscious."

Gunvalson also told People magazine on Wednesday, April 3, "It's my body and it's my life. I'm only trying to make myself look the best I can be."
