Amanda Bynes took to her official Twitter account to make some demands to the media about reporting on her and to also reveal that she has an eating disorder.

The 27-year-old actress had previously Tweeted that she was unhappy with how the media were talking about her weight gain.

"I'm suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I've gained weight then write a fake story," she wrote on Thursday, April 4.

Bynes then Tweeted, "I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin."

It should be noted this is not the first time Bynes has threatened to sue media outlets over negative stories. In October, Bynes said she was suing In Touch magazine for a story that claimed she was "troubled."

On Thursday, Bynes also Tweeted out several demands to media outlets including, "Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me."

She also wrote, "They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo."

Bynes has made headlines over the past year for her run-ins with the law and for her behavior since re-locating to New York City last year. She resolved two misdemeanor hit-and-run cases in December that occurred in early 2012 after she and the drivers she was accused of hitting reached civil settlements.

However, E! News recently reported that Bynes still has some legal hurdles to clear and that she recently failed to show up to a hearing stemming from a charge of driving on a suspended license. Her license was suspended after she had several unpaid tickets and was cited in September for driving without a license.

The former actress also recently sent a sexually explicit Tweet to rapper Drake and has been sporting cheek piercings since January.

Bynes rose to fame as a child star with a role in the Nickelodeon series "All That" and later appeared in movies such as "What a Girl Wants," "Hairspray" and "Easy A."
