Rumors are swirling that Rihanna and Chris Brown are over, again -- and the Barbadian singer may have given fans a hint at her recent Los Angeles concert.
The 24-year-old singer, who is currently traveling on her "Diamonds World Tour," performed at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Monday, April 8. After an energetic first half of the concert, the singer's demeanor turned serious as she asked the audience a series of questions.
"How many people are in love?" she asked the crowd. "And, how many people don't understand love?" she continued, according to a first-hand account of the concert.
"I'm in that group," she told the audience, receiving an immense amount of cheers after her bold statement. "The confused group."
Wearing a red halter top and a wrap-around skirt, the singer added: "Two words: What now? What the [expletive] now?"
Following her emotional rant, the singer led into a powerful rendition of her new single, "What Now," which features lyrics about a seemlingly failing relationship.
"I found the one, he changed my life / But was it me that changed," she sang. "And he just happened to come at the right time / I'm supposed to be in love, but I'm numb again."
The more mellow portion of the show continued with her famous midtempo ballads, including "Love The Way You Lie (Part II)," "Take A Bow," "Loveeeeeee Song" and "Hate That I Love You."
The singer's concert was a lively event that featured lasers, fire and a number of different outfit changes. The performer appeared on stage in thigh-high boots, sheer tops, leather outfits, corset shirts and even a dress with money designs emblazoned on the front.
The performer, who hasn't Tweeted since her performance at the sold-out show, is next set to perform in Anaheim, California on Tuesday, April 9. The "Diamonds World Tour" is set to wrap in New Zealand in October.
