Demi Lovato was a little star struck when she met Gwyneth Paltrow at the airport in Los Angeles recently and she joked about the experience on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, April 10, with Paltrow.
Paltrow also appeared on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday to promote her new cookbook "It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great." Lovato was there to perform her new single "Heart Attack" and she also sang her hit song "Give Your Heart A Break." Her appearance on the morning show can be seen in the video below.
Lovato Tweeted about her airport encounter with Paltrow on Tuesday, April 9, writing, "Sooo.. I'm sitting in an airport lounge and Gwyneth Paltrow is across the room. Had I not seen Contagion 10 times I'd probably be excited."
Paltrow later Tweeted out a photo with Lovato and wrote to her daughter Apple, "Check out who was on my flight!"
Lovato was then asked about the encounter on "Good Morning America" during Paltrow's cooking segment and explained, "She was in the airport lounge and I've seen 'Contagion' like 10 times, so I was like, 'Oh god. Oh god.'"
Paltrow added, "And then I sneezed on her when I walked by."
"I dropped dead," Lovato said. "I dropped dead."
Paltrow then revealed that her daughter Apple introduced her to Lovato's music and now "we're all big fans in our house."
"So in return, I'm releasing my album on Apple's birthday," Lovato said. Her album, titled "Demi," is set to be released on May 14. Lovato also joked that Paltrow was her "new bestie."
