Selena Gomez recently opened up about her first encounter with Brad Pitt as well as her highly-publicized split from Justin Bieber.
The 20-year-old singer and actress, who recently performed at the MTV Movie Awards, appeared on "Ellen" and gushed about meeting the "Moneyball" actor. She talked about how excited she was, explaining how she tried to "play it cool."
"I got to meet Brad Pitt," Gomez told Ellen DeGeneres. "So I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing, and they knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'well, he can come in.'"
"I was trying to play cool and be really nice," she continued. "As soon as he walked out, I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."
The former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star went on to say that Pitt wanted to take a picture with her for his kids, who were "fans of her show." She explained that she didn't get a picture for her own phone because there was a lot happening -- and, because "he's so pretty."
The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer also touched on her recent breakup with Bieber. When asked by DeGeneres if she was doing okay and feels happy, the starlet responded: "I am, I met Brad Pitt -- I'm great!"
DeGeneres didn't stop there, promising she would play matchmaker for Gomez, saying: "Tell me what you want. I'll get him. I can make it happen." Then, she asked, "What are you looking for? What do you like in a guy?"
"Someone that can make me laugh," Gomez said. "[Someone who is] great to my parents ... I feel like I'm doing my eHarmony profile," she laughed.
The singer debuted her newest single, "Come & Get It," at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. The song, which is from her highly-anticipated fourth studio album, features heavy drums and a catchy, tribal beat. Watch her perform the song on the "Ellen" show below.
The starlet also recently announced that she'll be embarking on a worldwide tour. Gomez is set to make stops in over 50 cities, starting in Vancouver, British Columbia on August 14 and wrapping in St. Louis in November.
