OTRC: 'Friends' reunion? 'Not happening,' co-creator says (Poll)

Jennifer Aniston walks the red carpet at a screening of Lifetime Television's 'Call Me Crazy' in Los Angeles on April 16, 2013.

Hold off on the clapping -- the "Friends" reunion rumors are bogus.

Earlier this week, reports began circulating online about a possible 11th season of the hit NBC show, which ended in 2003 years ago after a 10-season run and helped make its six cast members, which include Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, more famous. The series' co-creator Marta Kauffman told E! Online this is "not happening."

"Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore," she added.

"Friends" actors have often reunited on screen for other projects. Aniston appeared on Cox's former show "Dirt" in 2007 and on her current sitcom "Cougar Town" in 2010 while the latter actress guest starred on Matthew Perry's show "Go On" earlier this year.

Kauffman made her comments at a Los Angeles screening for the five-part Lifetime Television movie series "Call Me Crazy," which is about women suffering from mental illnesses.

It airs on April 20 and is an extension of the cable network's "Five" franchise, which was released in 2011 and was about breast cancer. Aniston directed one of those films and serves as an executive producer of both projects. She also walked the red carpet at the screening, wearing a strapless, black, silk Dior bustier and black shorts, paired with Dior shoes.

Several circular, discolored marks were seen on the actress' bare upper back. People magazine reported that they were "probably the result of cupping, a Chinese form of alternative medicine designed to promote circulation." She has not commented. (Check out PHOTOS.)
