BIG BEAR, Calif. --A brush fire in Big Bear was 25 percent contained Sunday after flames broke out north of Fawnskin the afternoon before.
Authorities say the blaze was caused by an escape campfire. So far, 30 acres have burned.
Crews from the Forest Service, Cal Fire and San Bernardino County continue to assist in the firefight.
The fire has not been a threat to any homes in the area.
