Halle Berry will be covering up her baby bump with some new "X-Men" gear when she returns to the franchise to reprise her role as Storm in the upcoming sequel "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Director Bryan Singer Tweeted out a photo of Berry in costume, complete with a new white wig, on Monday, April 22.
"Storm watch #HalleBerry #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast," Singer wrote with a photo of Berry in costume, which can be seen below.
Berry first appeared as Storm in the 2000 film "X-Men" and reprised the role for the 2003 film "X2: X-Men United" and the 2006 movie "X-Men: The Last Stand." Berry did not appear in the recent franchise prequel "X-Men: First Class." The character has the ability to manipulate weather. Storm's hairstyles have also changed drastically with each movie, as evidenced in the photo above.
Berry's baby bump is being covered up by the costume. The 46-year-old actress confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month. She and fiance Olivier Martinez are expecting their first child together. This will be the second child for the actress, who has a 5-year-old daughter named Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" will also see the return of Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore. The actors did not appear in "X-Men: First Class," but had prominent roles in the previous "X-Men" films. "X-Men: First Class" was set decades before the original films. Hugh Jackman appeared briefly in "X-Men: First Class" and will have a role in the upcoming film as well.
Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and James McAvoy will reprise their roles from "X-Men: First Class."
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is set to hit theaters on July 18, 2014. Check out a photo of Berry in her Storm costume below.
