The personality will live with an Amish community in Ohio to learn how they do construction, according to the Associated Press. He already has his own renovation series on the network, called "The Vanilla Ice Project," which will return for its fourth season in the fall.

"This show is going to be amazing, pure magical. Get in where you fit in, and I'm sitting in with the Amish. LOL," he Tweeted on April 23.

The rap star is known for his music in the early 1990s, with his single "Ice Ice Baby" being the first rap song to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts. While his music hasn't charted as much in recent years, the performer still maintains a cult underground following.

The actor has also appeared in numerous television shows, including "Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge," "The Surreal Life: Fame Games," "The Farm" and numerous Comedy Central Roasts.
