Keira Knightley has reportedly married her fiance James Righton, a member of the London-based band Klaxons.
The 28-year-old actress and the 29-year-old musician tied the knot in a ceremony in Mazan, near Provence, on Saturday, May 4, according to People magazine. The report quotes an unnamed witness who said the service was short and included just a few people.
Knightley reportedly wore a strapless tulle dress for the occasion, along with a Chanel Jacket and nude flats. The wedding reception will be held at Chateau de Mazan, located near Avignon, France.
Knightley and Righton confirmed their engagement in May 2012. The couple reportedly met through their mutual friend, fashion icon Alexa Chung. Righton plays keyboard and sings for Klaxtons and he and Knightley had been dating since 2011.
The Oscar-nominated actress rose to fame after her roles in "Bend It Like Beckham" and in three "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. She has also had notable roles in "Love Actually," "Atonement," "Never Let Me Go" and "Last Night."
She received an Oscar nod for her role in the 2005 movie Pride & Prejudice" and recently appeared in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" and "Anna Karenina." She has upcoming roles in movies like "Can a Song Save Your Life?" with Mark Ruffalo and "Jack Ryan" with Chris Pine.
