Rachael Leigh Cook is expecting her first bundle of joy.
Cook, 33, is expecting a baby with her husband Daniel Gillies sometime this fall, according to a report by Us Weekly. This will be the first child for the couple.
"I've been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time," Cook told the outlet. "We clearly have a future actor on our hands."
The actress plays special agent Kate Moretti in TNT's mystery series, "Perception." The show follows Dr. Daniel Pierce, an eccentric neuroscientist who solves complex criminal cases, who is played by Eric McCormack. The show also stars Kelly Rowan and Arjay Smith.
Gillies, who wed Cook in August 2004, confessed that he doesn't care whether he has a boy or a girl, telling the magazine: "A lot of people are asking whether I'd prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn't matter to me -- I just can't wait to meet little Keanu Robocop."
The actor, who is known for his work in films such as "Spider-Man 2" and shows including "The Vampire Diaries," is also gearing up for the release of Showtime's "Broken Kingdom," which was directed by and stars the expectant father. The film, which also features Cook, is set to tell the story of two interwoven narratives from the perspectives of different people.
