Fans of "The Hangover" franchise will have a chance to see the conclusion of the trilogy a little earlier than expected.
Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio behind "The Hangover: Part III," confirmed to OTRC.com that the film is getting released a day earlier than previously announced. The comedy will now hit theaters on Thursday, May 23.
E! Online first reported the release date change and noted the film will now have a full day lead on "Fast & Furious 6," which hits theaters on May 24, for the Memorial Day weekend box office race.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis reprise their roles as Phil, Stu and Alan in the third film, which brings the characters back to Las Vegas. A trailer for the film was released in March. It seems like the Wolf Pack has a lot of trouble in store.
The trailer also showed a few glimpses of actors like Melissa McCarthy, John Goodman and Heather Graham in the film. Graham was in the first "Hangover" film and played Jade, the stripper with a heart of gold who wooed Stu.
Todd Phillips is once again the director and co-writer of the script with Craig Mazin, who co-wrote "The Hangover: Part II."
