If Gwyneth Paltrow wasn't clear about how much she disliked the 2013 Met Museum Costume Institute Gala earlier this week, the actress told Australia's "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" in a new radio interview that "it sucked."
Previously, Paltrow said in an interview that the event was "un-fun" and vowed "I'm never going again." She also said the gala was "boiling" and was "too crowded."
The 40-year-old "Iron Man 3" star talked more about the event with the Australian radio hosts during a recent dinner/interview. Her interview, which was posted on May 10, can be heard here and it starts around the 29 minute mark. (Warning: Interview contains censored expletives and racy language.)
"Do you want me to be honest? It sucked," Paltrow said when asked about the gala. "It seems like the best thing in the world. Like you always think, 'Oh my god, it's gonna be so glamorous and amazing and you're going to see all these people' and then you get there and it's so hot, it's so crowded, everyone's pushing you."
"This year it was really, it was really intense," she added. "It wasn't fun."
According to Paltrow, she wasn't the only person having a bad time at the event.
"Kanye West was playing and he was furious and he threw his microphone down, it was all drama," she said.
Paltrow also took issue with the night's theme, which was "PUNK: Chaos to Couture." Photos from the event can be seen here.
"I feel like we're all a bit old to be trying to dress punk, you know what I mean," she said. She later added, "I just went kind of normal."
Paltrow wore a pink Valentino Couture gown with a horizontal nude, sheer insert across the front. Her dress can be seen here.
