Carrie Underwood, 30, is still not quite ready for motherhood.

"I don't feel old enough to have kids," the country star told Marie Claire magazine, according to ABC News. "I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?"

Underwood, who has been married to NHL player Mike Fisher, 32, since 2010, made her comments in an interview published in the magazine's June 2013 issue, which features her on the cover. She is seen wearing a $1,795 hot pink and black Michael Kors tube dress and a $3,850 Pomellato chain-link bracelet.

Underwood was also asked about starting a family around the same time last year. She said then in an interview with Us Weekly that she and Fisher are "super busy" and that bringing home a child "would mess things up."

Underwood, winner of season 4 of "American Idol" and a six-time Grammy recipient, is currently touring in Canada. She is also preparing for a very high-profile musical event -- the singer will play Maria von Trapp in a live, televised performance of "The Sound of Music," which will air on NBC this holiday season.

She was also recently named the new singer of NBC's "Sunday Night Football" theme song, "Waiting All Day For Sunday Night," replacing country star Faith Hill.
