Body found in Big Bear Lake area identified as missing hiker

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif.

The body was found Saturday by a team of ground search members in a remote area about a mile from where the search began.

Investigators were able to identify the body through fingerprints. A coroner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Dalman and her friend had gone hiking in the Crystal Mountain area on May 14 when they became separated. Two days later, Dalman's friend found his way back to his car and immediately reported her missing.
