Mariah Carey had a little bit of trouble with her wardrobe after performing on "Good Morning America" on Friday, May 24.
The singer and "American Idol" judge was wearing a pink sequined Donatella Versace dress and had just finished performing "Always Be My Baby" when the incident occurred.
Carey was being interviewed by co-anchor Lara Spencer when she said an expletive and revealed to the audience that her dress "popped" open. Video of the event can be seen below.
"Oh [expletive], now the back of my dress just popped," Carey said. "It popped. I love you Donatella, but it popped darling."
Carey, who appeared on the show to kick off the program's summer concert series, turned around to show the audience the malfunction and Spencer held up one side of the dress near the cleavage area while someone tried to fix the back of the dress.
The singer then joked about the moment to Spencer saying, "What should we call this, the Central Park saga?"
"I dare say this is a TV moment," Spencer replied. "There's so much I want to talk to you about. I'm just going to focus on your eyes.""I know we have to start singing somebody," Carey said. "Or hey, I'll just hold them up the whole time. What are you gonna do?"
The show went to a commercial break and when it returned, Carey reappeared in a hot pink long gown to avoid any other malfunctions.
After the show, Carey Tweeted about the incident and thanked her fans for attending the show in the rain.
"#Lambily!!! Thank you for standing in the rain while I was dealing with the ensem drama etc. I love you so much," she Tweeted.
Spencer shared a photo of the moment on Instagram with the caption, "Helping the one and only Mariah prevent a wardrobe malfunction on @gma #girlpower."
Carey recently released the single and video with Miguel called "#Beautiful." The song is the lead single off her upcoming 13th studio album, which is reportedly set to be released this summer.
